NEW KINDERGARTEN BUILDING LEOBERSDORF – SHOP DRAWINGS OF PREFABRICATED FACADE ELEMENTS

In Leobersdorf, a modern kindergarten with 12 group rooms, movement areas, and administrative areas is being built. It represents the first step for the community’s new education campus and creates the foundation for a vibrant center for children and families. The project was designed by the Viennese architectural firm G.O.Y.A. (Group of Young Architects).

Our Task: Shop Drawings for the Prefabricated Timber Facade

The solid construction shell was precisely surveyed using a laser scan. Building on this, we are undertaking the shop drawings for approximately 1,100 m² of timber frame facade elements, distributed across five building structures. In the 3D model, all details are precisely elaborated – from element terminations and corner formations to window openings.

Efficiency through Prefabrication

The facade elements – up to two stories high and approximately 2.4 m wide – are produced in the prefabrication plant and are prepared directly for assembly according to our planning. Thus, the solid construction of the shell combines with a prefabricated timber facade, which enables maximum precision, short construction times, and efficient implementation.

Collaboration and Effectiveness

STRABAG was commissioned for the timber construction within the project. Consequently, STRABAG commissioned us to take over the entire facade planning. Based on the supplied facade details, we developed precise shop drawings in the 3D model and prepared the implementation using prefabricated elements. Our strength lies in structured, digital planning, which seamlessly connects manufacturing, transport, and assembly. This results in solutions that are well-conceived in detail and function efficiently during the construction process.

Our Services at a Glance

  • Shop Drawings for the Timber Frame Facade
