From Old to New

At Lake Wolfgang, a dilapidated building was to be replaced by a new construction.

The requirements in the landscape conservation area were strict, and the official approval was a challenge that we were able to overcome thanks to our many years of experience.

As in the existing structure, the garage and the main building were to be provided with a gable roof. The single-story connecting section was conceived with a flat roof, as in the existing structure.

The ground floor and upper floor were to be constructed using a solid wood system.

The wall and roof surfaces were covered with larch wood shingles (ground floor partially with cladding). The wooden shingles and the wooden formwork remain free of chemical wood preservatives and should weather naturally.

The PV system is a clear commitment to sustainable management. The aim was to integrate the PV system into the new building in an attractive way. The PV system was to be installed not only on the south side but also additionally on the north side of the building. The plan is to install an in-roof system in the FULLBLACK version.
